Why We Don't Recommend Donating to Animal Save Movement
Accurate as of: Jul 2, 2026
Animal Save Movement is a charity that does traditional advocacy work and factory farm footage collection. We do not think their work is efficient at helping farm animals.
Animal Save Movement's Footage Collection
Animal Save Movement collects footage of factory farming to document the inhumane treatment animals go through.
Currently, the animal protection movement is spending far too many resources on footage collection, making it an inefficient way to help farm animals.
For additional context, please see our article on factory farm footage collection.
Animal Save Movement's Traditional Advocacy
Spreading messages in an influential manner can be a great way to help farm animals. However, traditional advocacy work tends to be a poor way to accomplish this, and we do not see meaningful evidence that Animal Save Movement's work is an exception to this.
For additional context, please see our article on traditional advocacy charities.
Conclusion
We do not think Animal Save Movement's work is efficient at helping farm animals. Accordingly, we do not recommend donating to them at this time.
