At first glance, the idea of helping shrimp seems absurd. However, before dismissing this idea, we ask that you watch one 22-second video:

In our view, it is reasonable to believe that what happened to these shrimp is bad, and that they should not have been killed in such a brutal way.
That said, it should also be acknowledged that shrimp are very primitive beings, and there is no scientific consensus on whether they can experience pain.
As a charity evaluator, it isn't our job to tell people whether or not they should care about helping shrimp. But if a donor wants to help shrimp, we hope we can provide information that assists them in doing that.
